What I did
My original strategy was to collect images that were man made patterns. This was my first walk, and resulted in my second silent film. On my first walk I walked right then left on all of the roads I found, but then my camera died on the bridge, so I had to end my walk short. A few days after I went on another walk, this time I was capturing images that were all of statues and cars. The reasson I had two, was for two different videos. So I went on a 3 hour walk, my goal was to find my way down to the beach and back. This took me through a park and in that park I got most of the statues for my first silent video. Once I go to the beach I sat on the median and then collected footage of cars. This can be seen in my final video. I also found a large pile of shells on the beach, this is used in my first silent video. Then on my way back to my room, I founda statue of a lion in front of a Irish pub, and then later found a statue of the racoon. Then when I walked into my building I recorded getting out of the elevator, and ended up using that for my finale video. In my finale video I use some of my other footage from my other videos, such as the bookcases, which I recorded just because I thought it looked cool, and it was a man-made pattern.
